Clinical Use
Amantanamine hydrochloride is used in the prophylactic or symptomatic treatment of influenza A.
It is also used as an antiparkinsonian agent, to treat extra pyramidal reactions, and for postherpetic neuralgia.
It is also used an NMDA-receptor antagoinst.
